VIBRATORY PARTS TESTING

Aircraft engine parts may be tested by optional request of the owner via the use of Vibratory Parts Testing to provide for more reliable magnetic test indications during Non Destructive Testing of parts. This process is also performed to remove residual stress of parts for improved parts durability. This process is performed by vibratory shaking of the parts at specific vibration frequencies. After this process the parts are tested for uniformity in accordance with the original manufacturer’s specifications. If any parts are found to not meet the original parts manufacturer’s specifications they will be rejected or repaired.
